Beta Psi Omega
The
primary purpose of this organization is to provide a supportive, diverse
community for students pursuing careers in the biological sciences, and to
further the advancement of biology as a science and as a profession. The
fraternity is committed to serving needs of the students and thereby the
community. Beta Psi Omega aims to provide passionate students with
opportunities, insights, and guidance to for their ambitions. We are committed

Biology Graduate Student Club

The
purpose of this organization is to provide Biological Science graduate students
with eligibility to receive funding to attend conferences, social activities
facilitating departmental interaction, volunteer activities that enable
students to give back to the community, educational opportunities that keep
members informed of advancements in the field of biology, and a venue for
students to practice conference presentations and receive feedback from peers.
Chemistry and Biochemistry Club

purpose of this organization is to provide information pertaining to opportunity
and careers within the field of Chemistry and Biochemistry, while facilitating
association and interaction between the students and the faculty of the department
of Chemistry and Biochemistry. Furthermore, this organization is to assist in
familiarizing students with research opportunities available within the
department, as well as a sense of community outreach, which promotes a positive
perception of a scientific education.
Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine Organization

Flying Samaritans

Flying
Samaritans at CSUF is a sub-chapter of the larger Palomar Chapter of the Flying
Samaritans organization that intends to aid in the provision of free medical
care to the citizens of Mexico who lack healthcare. We also present an
opportunity for pre-health students, social sciences students, and Spanish translators
to gain international volunteer experience.
Geology Club

purpose of this organization if to provide an outlet for college students
interested in geology and earth sciences to learn about and engage in the field
through various activities promoting geology and earth science in a
professional manner that elevates the ideals and purposes of the department.
Latino Medical Student Association/ Pre-Medical Latino Undergraduate
Society

The
Latino Medical Society Association provides a voice for underrepresented
pre-medical students and actively promote recruitment and retention of Latino
students at all levels. Our main goal is to education pre-medical students on
Latino health issues and advocate for the rights of Latinos in health care. We
offer leadership opportunities for Latinos and promote volunteerism in the
Latino community.
Physicians Assistants Coming Together

purpose of this organization is to serve those who are pre-PA or those who are
interested in learning more about the profession. This club will provide an
outlet and be a resource in opportunity and progression towards the Physicisn
Assistant profession. The main objective for this club is to expand upon the
knowledge of a Physician Assistant profession and bring in different
perspectives, provide opportunities related to the profession/non-related, and
promote a healthy affable community for students.

Pre-Dental Society’s primary mission is to serve CSUF students interested in pursuing
dental-related fields. We provide students with the necessary tools to have a
strong and well-rounded competitive dental school application by integrating
students into volunteering, shadowing, educational opportunities, guidance, and
support.
Pre-Optometry Club

Pre-Optometry
Club at CSUF was established in 2013 to accommodate students interested in the
field of Optometry in order to educate themselves more about this health care
profession and network with other students and professionals with similar
interests. The club is also committed to providing the following resources: school
tours, guest speakers, mentor-mentee guidance, and much more to broaden the
experiences of the pre-optometry students and prepare them for applying to Optometry
School.
Pre-Veterinary Club

mission is to serve the next generation of leaders in veterinary medicine by
providing invaluable opportunities for progression and exploration. The
Pre-Veterinary Club of Cal State Fullerton is an organization on campus that is
open to all students who have interest in pursuing veterinary medicine. Our
main objective is to broaden students’ perspectives in the areas of
animal-related fields. We strive to develop our members into professionals and
prepare them for success beyond the collegiate realm.
Pursuing Research in Mathematical Endeavors Club

PRIME
Club is a space for students who are mathematics majors to partake in
activities that work to enhance the academic development of future
mathematicians. Students will be encouraged to explore different fields of
mathematics through research opportunities and through participating in active
discussions with members in the club in hope of sparking a potential interest
in various areas of the vast subject.
Society for the Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans
in Science

SACNAS is a national organization dedicated to “True
diversity in STEM. True diversity means that the field (including leadership
positions) reflects the demographics of the population.” We envision a CSUF SACNAS
chapter as an opportunity for students from all STEM fields to build community.
Members would span experience levels from first year undergraduates to
graduate students.
Student Health Professions Association

SHPA
is dedicated to informing students about the opportunities available in the
various health professions. Furthermore, the club provides volunteer
opportunities for students to get involved in the community, campus life,
American Red Cross blood drives, and work closely with the Health Professions
Advising office which is dedicated to assisting students in getting admitted to
health profession graduate schools.
Spanish for Health Services

Spanish
for Health Services raises awareness about the importance of the Spanish language
and culture in the medical community. Our goal is to teach students, through
education about the language and culture so that we can prepare ourselves to
better serve the Spanish-speaking community. This club will offer an opportunity
for its members to practice their oral Spanish skills, as meetings will be
conducted in both Spanish and English.
SMART Girls

purpose of this organization is to increase mentoring and advisement to math
majors, primarily female minorities, at the undergraduate level. This club provides
the information and tools needed to help math majors in their journey to
becoming teachers.
