What is NSM-ICC?
NSM-ICC is a student-lead council comprised of representatives from clubs in the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. The goal of the inter-club council (ICC) is to help students make connections, form collaborations, and build community within the college and across campus.
What do we do?
We distribute funds for students to travel to conferences as both attendees and presenters. If you are a member of a club with an ICC representative and would like to apply for funding, contact your rep for further details. If you are not an active member of a club but are a current NSM student, you can still apply.
We also fund clubs to host events on campus for all CSUF students. Please get in touch with an NSM ICC representative or send us an e-mail for more information.
Each spring, the NSM-ICC sponsors a symposium that showcases student research from CNSM and other colleges at CSUF. Poster presentations, research talks, and a keynote speaker highlight the 2 day celebration. Past keynote speakers include Bill Nye, the Mythbusters, and discoverer of the Titanic, Bob Ballard.
Weekly meetings are held on Fridays in MH-513, from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM.
